Curriculum
Al Yasat Private School implements an American curriculum with established international standards and characteristics. The curriculum has been creatively developed, modified, and enhanced to meet the school's mission and the requirements of the United Arab Emirates. The school strives to motivate students to become responsible global citizens who are aware of issues surrounding them, such as environmental conservation and knowledge and respect for other cultures. The school strongly supports the principle of integration by encouraging students to understand the values, culture, and aspirations of the United Arab Emirates.
The full-school education at Al Yasat Private School is divided into four stages: Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School.
Al Yasat American School follows the official Common Core curriculum for English and mathematics, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the Virginia Tech curriculum for all other subjects, and supports this by offering classes in Arabic, Islamic Studies (for our Muslim students), and UAE Social Studies to meet the requirements of the UAE Ministry of Education.
