High School at Al Yasat (Grades 9–12)

The High School program at Al Yasat Private School is a four-year journey designed to prepare students for university, career, and life beyond graduation. From Grades 9 to 12, students are immersed in a rigorous, standards-based academic environment supported by subject specialists, individualized guidance, and a wide range of enrichment opportunities.

Whether pursuing advanced coursework, exploring career pathways, or developing leadership skills, students graduate from Al Yasat as confident, self-directed learners ready to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Our high school curriculum is built on the foundation of a U.S. standards-based diploma program, aligned with:

• Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English and Mathematics

• Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science

• UAE Ministry of Education standards for Arabic, Islamic Studies, UAE Social Studies, and Moral Education
   

To fulfill graduation requirements, students study:

Work Placement Program

Our Work Placement Program offers senior students (Grades 11–12) the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in professional environments that align with their career interests. Through partnerships with local businesses, STEM industries, educational institutions, and nonprofits, students are matched with short-term internships that enhance their:

• Communication and time management skills

• Professional confidence and workplace etiquette

University Entrance & Equivalency Support

To support students in achieving both UAE Ministry graduation equivalency and international university admission, Al Yasat provides tailored preparation for standardized tests, including:

• SAT Prep Courses (Math, Reading, and Essay Writing)

• AP Exam Review Sessions aligned with College Board content

• Guidance for university applications, documentation, and equivalency pathways 

• College counseling workshops and one-on-one support beginning in Grade 9
