In this course students will be introduced to the skills required to write effectively in college. Many universities today require a written personal essay in order to gain admission. Students will explore how to develop the skills needed to conduct research, write effectively and edit. As part of the process students will also develop their personal statements for college emphasizing their story and its relevance to their college and career choice.
