Sweatha Jayakumar is a passionate and dedicated Special education needs coordinator. She
obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in special education needs.
She is KHDA accredited Applied behavior analysis and Register behavior therapist. She is from
India a county in south Asia and it is the seventh-largest country. She lives in UAE for about 5
Sweatha has experience working with a wide range of students and believes that each child has a
unique gift to share with the world around them. She has supported children with barriers like
Down Syndrome, learning disability, Attention Deficit Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders,
Developmental Delay, and Speech and Language Disorders to name but a few.
She believes in the importance of holistic and collaborative support where parents, teachers,
medical professionals therapists work together to support the student in reaching their full
potential and that inclusive education is the key to success for young students. Her philosophy of
education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment
where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
She is happy to be a part of Al Yasat Private School as a Middle and High school special
education needs coordinator.
Tania Al Hage is a dedicated Special Education Needs Coordinator at Al Yasat Private School for KGs and Elementary phases. She holds an ABAT Technician certificate. She has been working with students with additional needs since 2015 and is thrilled to continue working with the same enthusiasm and motivation to create a better inclusive environment. Tania has a bachelor's degree in Special Education and is currently pursuing her master's degree in the same field. She has worked as a trainer in various institutions, dealing with different cases such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and hearing impairment. Additionally, she has worked as a therapist in a clinic for two years, assisting children with learning difficulties, conducting home sessions for parental guidance, and collaborating with different schools.
